A journey shared

Thanks to some pretty amazing friends, I return to this blog I started so many many years ago.  Why?? To share this new journey!!  Not actually new... Connor turns 5 in November and it's already 12 months down the track since my beautiful son was diagnosed as having ASD.

This is going to be my electronic journal.

To record our daily lives so I can read back on posts and learn from them. To give others a glimpse into our lives.  To record improvement and advancements he makes. To share the highs and also the lows our family faces.

So please join me... It could be one hell of a ride :)

BTW please forgive me... To get the ball rolling I am going cheat and share some bits I have posted over the years... Yes from Facebook!

Great to see you turning to this platform, like many parents with special needs kids it is great to turn to a site with a coffee and know you are not alone, share how things are going and hopefully pick up some pointers to try on our angels. Best of luck with this new / old venture and I look forward to following your journey

Thank you! Yes I think the social isolation can be the worse barrier for parents/carers of special needs, and compounds the stress... I just hope someone can reach out by reading the blog :)
